This program is modeled after the traditional envelope system where you set aside a portion of your income for various expenses. Each month you create budget transactions that automatically move your income into various accounts. When you actually spend the allocated funds, the money comes out of the appropriate "envelope" and is recorded against the real fund account -- your checkbook, bank, or credit card. |
