While conventional approaches require an item-by-item entry of all expense transactions, Graphic Accounts creates a base budget founded on estimates of current expenditure. The users knowledge of their own typical spending habits is quickly translated into a detailed hierarchy of budget categories, representing average annual expenditure.
This budget can be rescaled - essential categories remain constant whilst discretionary categories are proportionately adjusted - and the effect on future financial wellbeing can be examined in the dual chart display.
Once a suitable budget has been created the program offers control over the final printed output. Daily, weekly, monthly or annual budget can be produced using as many category levels as required. |
